About our Club
Formed in 1882, Diamond Creek Cricket Club is a member of the Diamond Valley Cricket Association. A synthetic wicket summer competition.
We have 6 senior and 10 junior sides from U10’s through to Barclay shield and a successful Blasters program for U10’s that are all supported by fully accredited coaches and great facilities.
Whether you are looking to increase our tally of six Barclay Shield Premierships, have a game with your friends or just see if cricket is for you, we welcome all new players and families to our club.

SENIORS
6 senior sides participating in one day and two day games caters to all levels of availability and ambition. With sides ranging from Barclay shield through to G grade we have something for everyone.
JUNIORS
10 junior sides ranging from U10 to U18 & a junior Blasters program ensures that any child wanting to participate in cricket can have that opportunity. Fully accredited coaches help develop the skills of our youth while fostering a safe & fun environment to give each individual the opportunity to develop to their full potential.
TRAINING
Diamond Creek Cricket club is a great place to bring your family and friends or meet new people. Everyone is welcome to enjoy meals each Thursday night, the clubrooms being open at Coventry Oval on a Saturday afternoon and plenty of functions and activities.

Diamond Creek Cricket Club is proud to announce Robbie Phelan as Captain/Coach for season 2024/25. We look forward to Robbie passing on his energy, enthusiasm and skills from a decorated playing career including Premier Cricket and DVCA team of the year honours to all of our playing group this season.
Dale Campbell brings a wealth of playing and coaching experience to the development coach role this year. A former premiership player and club coach, we are grateful to have such an experienced coach and player developing our next generation of cricketers.
One of our current Barclay Shield players who has played locally and internationally for a number of years. Danyon brings great knowledge, passion and energy for the game that we are looking forward to him passing on to our playing group.
Luke Davies is a former premiership player and coach who we are happy to announce has come back to the club to pass on some of his vast knowledge to the current crop of players.
The club is very fortunate to retain the services of current Premier coach Lucas as our bowling coach. We are sure our bowling group will learn a lot this season.
